Chandlings Prep School is seeking a Head of Nursery who is experienced, reliable and conscientious to work in its Early Years Setting.
We are delighted to invite applications for the position of Pre-Prep Art Teacher
(maternity cover) at our vibrant and ambitious prep school. The role is part time at 2.5
days per week and is for a minimum of one academic year.
This is an exciting opportunity for an excellent classroom practitioner to contribute to
the delivery of a vibrant and creative Art curriculum within the Pre-Prep setting.
We are delighted to invite applications for the position of Head of Maths at our vibrant
and ambitious prep school.
This is an exciting opportunity for an excellent classroom practitioner to lead and
shape the strategic direction of Mathematics across the school. The successful
candidate will inspire a love of the subject, drive high academic standards, and
support colleagues in delivering engaging and innovative lessons. Alongside
departmental leadership, you will also take on the valued role of Form Tutor, guiding
and supporting a group of pupils in their academic progress and personal
development.
We are seeking a LAMDA Teacher who is experienced, inspiring, and reliable.
Teaching will start from September 2026. The hours of work will be 8.00am to
5.00pm, with flexibility to arrange your timetable around existing ensemble rehearsals.
You will be working alongside another LAMDA teacher who shares the pupils and the
ensemble work. There are currently 36 pupils and 1 Choral Speaking ensemble which
equates to one day’s work per week. Some of these lessons are taught as solo
lessons and others are duos.
The role would suit someone who has a passion for teaching the LAMDA curriculum to
young children. Candidates need to be highly organised and be able to respond
effectively to a fast-paced teaching environment.
Chandlings Prep School is seeking a Reception Teacher to work in its EYFS department.
This is a full time position starting in September 2026.
The role would suit someone who is fun, innovative, caring, dynamic with initiative and has a
genuine passion for school life. They will have excellent communication skills and offer a full
commitment to this busy, successful school, which values its caring family atmosphere.
They would work with the EYFS staff at Chandlings Prep School to promote the highest
standards of teaching, learning and pastoral care.
