A fun, sensory-rich experience for prospective families with little explorers aged 2-5 and a great way for parents to discover Chandlings’ nurturing early years environment.

Our sensory play mornings are designed to help toddlers explore, experiment, and develop confidence through play. This is the same philosophy that underpins our Nursery and Pre-Prep learning.

It’s also the perfect chance for prospective families to get a feel for our welcoming school community and see our beautiful early years facilities.

What To Expect

Let your toddler dive into a world of texture, colour, and creativity at our friendly messy sensory play session. This relaxed, hands-on morning will include:

Squishy gloop, soft sand, and bubbly water play
Safe, allergen-conscious sensory materials for curious little hands
Imaginative play in our Nursery garden & mud kitchen
Music and movement
Complimentary refreshments for grown ups

Please note that although we will have our caring staff on hand, parents are expected to monitor their children. Nappy changing stations, toddler toilets and adult facilities will be available. A change of clothes is highly encouraged.

About Chandlings Nursery

At Chandlings, we offer an unparalleled nursery experience for children ages 2-4. With bright age-specific rooms, specialist Early Years teachers, and plenty of green space, our offering stands out from the rest.

Throughout the year, our littlest learners are immersed in elements of school life, which helps form the building blocks for later learning. Included in our toddler experience is weekly swimming, Outdoor Learning in our woodlands, Drama, French, PE, and trips to the library. Children also enjoy delicious homemade meals at our tiny tables in the dining hall.

We operate with parents in mind too. We have plenty of parking and provide wrap-around care for busy working mums and dads who may need to flex pick up and drop off times.
